Terms & disclaimer.
Plain language, so everyone is on the same page.
Bruce's role, and its limits. Bruce (bruce.bot), a service operated by Tanda Technologies, Inc. (“Bruce”), supports Debbi and this effort because we believe in her and in the Girls on the Run mission. Our support is real: we designed, built, and host this page and the sponsor recognition on it, and we are making our own contribution toward Debbi's effort, which may include a gift to the race and to Girls on the Run. That voluntary support is the extent of our involvement. Bruce does not organize, run, manage, or guarantee the race. Other people's money does not flow through Bruce: we do not collect, hold, or control sponsorship payments or charity donations, and we receive no portion of them. Bruce takes no responsibility for the race, the sponsorships, the donations, or their outcomes.
The race and sponsorships are Debbi's. Debbi Runs the World and the 7-7-7 effort are organized by Debbi DiMaggio. Every sponsorship is solely between the sponsor and Debbi. Sponsorship funds are paid to and collected by Debbi directly and do not flow through Bruce. Bruce is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any sponsorship agreement, payment, refund, or deliverable. A sponsorship is a marketing and recognition arrangement, not a charitable donation, and is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your own tax advisor. Your card is charged when you claim your sponsorship, which locks in your placement. Because a sponsorship pays for recognition that is delivered on a best-effort basis whether or not every leg of the race proceeds, sponsorship payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Donations go straight to Girls on the Run. Every square is a donation you make directly to Girls on the Run on their own donation page. 100% goes to Girls on the Run, and neither Bruce nor Debbi handles, holds, controls, or receives any portion of those funds. The square is a free thank-you for your gift, not a good or service purchased from Bruce or Debbi. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and are non-refundable through the charity.
No affiliation with Girls on the Run. Neither Bruce nor Debbi is affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Girls on the Run. We simply believe in their mission and encourage supporters to give to them directly. Girls on the Run does not endorse Bruce, Debbi, this campaign, or any sponsor. Use of its name reflects the donation relationship and our admiration for the cause, nothing more.
No guarantee, and real risk. An undertaking like this carries real risk. Any leg, or the entire race, may be shortened, delayed, modified, cancelled, or carried into 2027 due to weather, injury, illness, travel, or other circumstances beyond anyone's control. Completion of the race is not guaranteed. If the full race cannot proceed as planned, Debbi's commitment is to honor sponsor recognition and keep going.
Recognition. Sponsor recognition may include logo placement on the race shirt, a spot on the poster wall, online presence for at least one year, and social and press mentions. Exact placement, size, color, and timing may vary, and printing and display are provided on a reasonable, best-effort basis.
No warranties, and limitation of liability. This page and everything offered through it are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bruce is not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the race, the sponsorships, the donations, the recognition, or your use of this page. For sponsorships your sole relationship is with Debbi DiMaggio, and for donations your sole relationship is with Girls on the Run.
Your information. Contact and payment details are used only to process sponsorships, deliver your recognition, and send updates about the effort. We do not sell your information.
Changes and questions. These terms may be updated as plans firm up. The version posted here governs. Questions about the race or a sponsorship go to Debbi DiMaggio at debbi.dimaggio@corcoranicon.com. For questions about this website, email support@bruce.bot.
