The journey continues

Questions, answered.

Our commitment to sponsors, supporters, and Girls on the Run.

What is the difference between a donation and a sponsorship?

Two different things. A donation is $20+ you give directly to Girls on the Run, and in return you redeem a square on the wall with your initials, a color, and a link. A sponsorship is a logo placement, a block, a continent's headline spot, or the title sponsorship across all seven shirts, that carries your brand around the world and helps power the race.

When am I charged?

Right away. Donations go straight to Girls on the Run the moment you give, on their own page. Sponsorships are charged when you claim your placement, which locks in your spot on the shirts and the wall.

What happens to the charity money?

Every square is a donation you make directly to Girls on the Run on their own page. 100% goes to the charity, it is immediate and tax-deductible, and neither Debbi nor Bruce ever touches it. The cause happens no matter what.

Is the race actually happening?

Yes. Debbi is running all seven continents this November, rain or shine. The only things that could change the plan are a medical reason or other circumstances beyond anyone's control. Even then, your donation is already with Girls on the Run and untouched, and every sponsor commitment is honored, carried to a 2027 running if it ever came to that, with your brand delivered either way. I keep running and carry your brand the whole way.

Why sponsor early?

Sponsorships are first come, first served, and placements are limited. The headline day spots and the title sponsorship go to whoever claims them first. Your square or logo also goes live the moment you claim it and stays up through race day and at least a year after, so the earlier you sponsor, the longer you are seen.

Will sponsors still get their visibility?

Yes. Sponsors receive logo placement on the race shirt, a spot on the poster wall, your brand online for at least a year, and social and press recognition along the way. Our commitment to delivering sponsor value does not change.

Why are you doing this, and what is the mission?

I have completed one marathon so far, and this is about far more than running. It is about showing what is possible when we believe in ourselves, share our goals, put in the work, and stay committed, for everyone chasing a dream, building a business, or working toward something bigger than themselves. The mission is simple: create momentum, inspire action, support Girls on the Run, and prove that when we activate purpose and take consistent action, extraordinary things happen.
